With the holidays upon us, we are going to hold the office closed between the 24th and the 26th to spend time with the families. Further, for New Years, we will be closed on the 31st and 1st. We also want to wish you a very, merry christmas and a happy new year!

Welcome to the new version of My.XLD Studios. On the old version you had to log in and be taken to a separate client center from our website. With the new version it is fully tied in with our website which means for you a much easier experience. There are also a lot of new features, both for registered clients and for non-registered clients such as a vast knowledgebase and the ability to easily submit tickets.

We are working on improving and expanding the My.XLD Studios client center and be able to integrate it into the main XLD Studios website. While we are working on the integration, things may be looking a bit off. If you run into any problems or something that isn't working, make sure to send us an email and let us know so that we can make sure we can fix it. Thanks for the patience during this time!

It's with regret that we have to announce the rise of domain prices for certain top-level domains (TLDs). Because of the increasing cost for us when purchasing them, we now have to increase the cost on some of the top level domains for our end customers as well. It's not a great price increase and we still offer a industry standard price on domains.

For a lot of people around the world it is back to school now or in a couple of weeks. There are a lot of things students need and we want to make it a bit easier on the budget when it comes to design and hosting by having some great special offers now for the school start period.

We have announced a completely rebuilt set of hosting plans today, August 10th. The plans hold the same price as before and all current customers have been upgraded to the new ones. We hope that the new and improved plans, made possible by last months server addition, will make it even better than before, with the same prices.

We are announcing today the addition of our newest server called Jupiter. It will help us unload the current Venus server a bit and to streamline the set-up to the benefit of all users. The new server will be put into use immidiately and customers that are subject to being moved over have been contacted and informed about this. If you have any questions about this, don't hesitate to contact Support.

We are keeping all departments closed during the dates outlined in this announcement due to vacations. lease bear with us during these periods. During the first closure time web designs will be progressing slower than normal but still progressing. During all other dates, all departments will be closed. XLD Studios are proud to announce the availability of the new webmail service called RoundCube. It’s a much improved system over the two older Horde and Squirrelmail providing a more more advanced and modern interface. Over the time we are working to depricate the two older systems, in favour of the RoundCube system. We do hope that everyone will like the new and improved webmail and if you have any questions or suggestions, don’t hesitate to open a support ticket and we will look into your matter.

XLD Studios is now back in full operation after the few days of closure. We hope that all has been well with everyone of you and your sites. The first thing we have done back now, is updating our cPanel to the latest build and also rebuild the server Apache to make sure you are all running the latest versions of our softwares. All Web Designs, Developments or other designs in progress are now back on working track and they are due for completion in the time frame quoted. All clients with projects in process are being sent emails on the progress.

XLD Studios will continue to evolve and improve during 2008 and we have quite a few plans for changes that will happen as soon as the first quarter this year among them the fact that we will be going multi-lingual and going into the Swedish market as well providing the same quality hosting that you've been used to. The support, sales and design will be closed from January 2nd, 2008 at 9p.m GMT and will reopen on January 3rd, 2008 at 9p.m GMT. This is because of limited internet access due to travel, e-mails will be replied to still and urgent support matters will be taken care of. Please also note that if you have a web design in process we have tried to finish all designs and they are now ready to go into coding once we reopen. We hope you will have patience and understanding with a bit of holidays after our full opening during Christmas and new year holidays.

Wordpress has released their latest branch of script, the 2.3 version. If you have installed this script on your site from Fantastico, please wait a while until Fanastico is upgraded to support the new Wordpress version before updating it. A new notice here will be written when it does support Wordpress 2.3. If you recently (within 4 months) purchased any Web Design or Website service that included making the site into Wordpress, just send us a ticket in My.XLD Studios and we will perform the upgrade for you, free of charge!

XLD Studios new website, V2.Refreshed is now released to public after a long time in beta testing. The new site is a complete change from the old site and we are very proud to release it. With the release comes some specials, with discounts on web hosting and the reseller plans as celebration!

My.XLD Studios is now backup after being closed due to server problems. For anyone that had a invoice due in the beginning of May has had their due date extended to the 13th May. Otherwise everything rolls on as usual.

Due to a server move. You might be subject to experience downtime on Tuesday 1 May 2007 while the DNS systems update. An exact time for move is not set, this announcement and a mail will be sent to you when a time is set. You shouldn't get any real downtime, but I advise you during the move, posts in forums etc. can be lost, this is because we move the files over to the new server before we update our nameservers to the new IP. The server move is an important part in our plan to further improve your stay here, and to eliminate downtime we have been having.
